Kandil Simidi is one of my favorite savory biscuits.
Its so easy to make them and they fo very well with a nice cup of tea!
🔸125gr butter ( must be in room temperature)
🔸5tsp of olive oil
🔸Pinch of sugar
🔸2,5 cups of flour
🔸1 pocket of baking powder
🔸1 egg white ( you will use it for to stick the sesames)
🔸1 egg yolk
🔸1 tps of salt
🔸1/2 cups of Greek yogurt
🔸1 cup of sesame seeds
📍Take a big bowl, add all the ingredients except the egg white!
📍knead the dough until it is soft.
📍then make these circle shapes 🤗
📍Put egg white in a small bowl. Dip the circle dough into egg white and add some sesame seeds on the top of the dough.
📍bake them in a preheated oven (180C) until they become brown ( it took me 20mins)
