This is a recipe from my childhood… My mum used to prepare this lemon jelly during spring and summer. The original name of the recipe is: “Limonlu Pelte”.
This jelly is healthy and doesn’t contain any gelatine! Having a very refreshing taste, it is a great alternative for an ice cream 🙂

Ingredients ( for 4 person)
- Half cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3 table spoon of corn or Wheat starch
- Half of a lemon zest ( this gives more lemon taste to jelly)
- 2,5 cups of water
- 5 tablespoon on sugar ( please add the sugar according to your taste. Sometimes lemons can be acid and you may need to add more sugar..)
Cooking Time: 15 min
The recipe is very simple 🙂
Add all the in a sauce pan. Mix it until the mixture becomes creamy.
Then place the jelly into a small cups and let it wait in the fridge for 2h-3h.
You’ll see, this is a very refreshing dessert 🙂
