Another new recipe that you can prepare under 40 mins. I like to use these pie pastries with different veggies and this time we tried it with salmon! The result was delicious 🙂
- 1 pocket of ready to use salty pie pastry ( I bought it from coop )
- 240 gr of frozen spinach with cream
- 100 gr of salmon
- 1 egg
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- 1 dessertspoon of paprika
- Salt & pepper
Cooking Time: 30 min
Level: Easy, for 4 person
Preheat the oven to 220C. As this is a pie, I used the option that you can heat the top and the bottom of the oven.
Take a pan and cook the frozen spinach for 3-4 mins. Once it is defrost, put it aside and let it cool down.
Whisk the egg in a bowl, add little bit of salt.
Chop the salmon into small cubes and mix it with spinach, paprika and salmon.
Take your pie pan and place the pastry, curl the corners with your hands. Take a fork and make some holes onto it. ( see the picture below).
Then add your vegetable mix.
Bake it until the pie is crusty ( check often the bottom of the pie, if it is crusty then its perfect – 25 mins). Before you take it from the oven, decorate it with cherry tomatoes and serve it warm.
