Cod Fish with Hollandaise Sauce and Roasted Parsnip Puree

Yep, the name of this recipe is quite long πŸ™‚ however it takes only 25 mins to cook this delicious fish.

This one is a new recipe that I recently invented and my husband loved it! This will definitely in our best of menu!

Cooking Time: 25 mins

Level: Medium – ServesΒ  2 person

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of Cod fish ( we bought it from migros and the taste was good)
  • 1 pocket of hollandaise sauce ( from Tommy)
  • 3 medium parsnip
  • 4 table spoon of milk ( maybe you may need more)
  • 1 tea spoon of butter
  • some parmesan cheese to season parsnip puree
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & Pepper

First, start with parsnip puree. Clean the parsnips and steam for 10 mins.

Once the parsnips are soft, place them in a food processor, add milk, butter and salt. Prepare it as a puree.

Preheat the oven to 200 C. Place 1 spoon of parsnip puree on a baking paper. Season it with parmesan cheese and let it cook until 20 mins in the oven. Once the parmesan is melted and roasted take them out.

Take a pan, add some olive oil. Place the fish in a pan when the oil is hot. Cook it during 10 mins ( 5 mins each sides).

In a sauce pan, warm up the hollandaise sauce. Season your fish with the sauce and serve it with warm parsnip puree!
