French Plum Pie


This is a special recipe that I’ve learned from my mother in law. You can make this pie with so many fruits and this time we made it with 3 different plums: Greengage, mirabelle and damson.

According to the saison, you can add different fruits!

Enjoy it.


For the Pie:

  • 210 gr flour
  • 100 gr melted butter
  • 80 gr of sugar ( if the fruits are sweet, add less sugar around 60 gr)
  • 1 egg
  • Pinch of salt

*In total we used 10-15 small plums ( this can change according to your preference)

Preheat the oven 180C

If I make some pie, i always use my hands to mix all the ingredients… Homemade means handmade for me and i prefer to feel what i cook 🙂

If you are not like me, then you can make the dough with a food processor.

So, put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix the dough with your hands during 10 mins.

Clean + cut all plums according to your choice.

Place the pie in a pie pan and decorate it with the plums.

Cook it during 30-40 mins in the oven and enjoy this delicious pie with a cup of tea 🙂
