Yesterday we went fishing with our friends near Sydney… We rent a little boat, had some beers and chips for a lunch and bought our tackles! We were ready to spend this amazing summer day near the ocean and have some fun.. However the things were not that easy 🙂 we spend 5hours and caught nothing! We had neither the fish nor the prawns for our day!
So we came back home, bought some delicious prawns. I wanted to make something special and a great salad idea came up to my mind! I made a mixture of sweet and sour and we ended up with a delicious salad! I will definitely do it again 🙂
- 1 pomegranate
- 1 Mango
- A pocket of Green salads
- White Wine vinegar
- Olive Oil
Cooking Time: 6-10 mins
Level: Easy – serves 2
Clean and drain the green leaf salad and place it in a salad bowl.
Pour the half of the pomegranate juice and some olive oil into the bowl. Mix them by adding some vinegar and salt.
Cut the mango into medium pieces and the half of the pomegranate too.
Mix everything together. Add more seasoning if needed.
You will see, the sourness of pomegranate and the sweetness of mango goes very well with each other!
This salad can be a good alternative with seafood!
