Tomato Salad à la Turca

Home sweet home.. this recipe is from my hometown! Every time that I prepare this salad, it reminds me of home and summer! It is easy to prepare and a very refreshing salad for every seasons! The magic in this salad is to cut every single ingredients in to small cubes! Ready? So let’s start with the ingredients!

Ingredients for 4-5 People:

4 Red Tomatoes ( if it is possible organic tomatoes)

1 Long cucumber ( I hate these long cucumbers that we find in Zurich 😦 If you can find, use 3 small cucumbers, they are more tasty)

2 Red onions

2 Red Peppers

Bunch of fresh mint

Bunch of fresh parsley

Pomegranate Sauce ( this is a special ingredients that you can find in Turkish markets. If this is difficult to find it then continue with lemon juice)

1 Lemon

Olive oil

Salt

Cut all the ingredients into cubes. For cucumber and tomatoes, take their seedy parts out and cut them like that. The reason that we do so is to avoid your salad to become very juicy!

Before serving add lemon juice and olive oil and always eat it cold 🙂

Bon Appétit!
